Course Overview
Welcome to Night Navigation: Mastering After-Dark Travel! This course is designed to equip outdoor adventurers with the skills and confidence to navigate unfamiliar terrain after the sun sets. By learning a combination of traditional and modern tools, you’ll be able to safely travel through the wilderness, even in the dark.
By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:
- Use a Maglite flashlight to enhance your visibility in low-light conditions.
- Navigate by using natural landmarks and the stars.
- Effectively use a GPS and compass for night travel.
